25 volunteers, aged between 18 and 53 were chosen for this clinical trial tested under dermatological control.
All the volunteers, prior to this clinical trial had complaints of dandruff , itching and redness of the scalp. The average age of all the tested people was 29 and there were 14 men and 11 women.
All the volunteers received and used the product as directed.
They were also obliged to:
- Every day rub 20 drops of preparation on the scalp for 3 weeks,
- Not use any other products of similar effect during the trials,
- Be aware that in the event of any side effects on the scalp to stop using the product and immediately report it to the dermatologist
An instrumental trichological examination was conducted before and after the 3 weeks of treatment using a special measuring device – ARAMO SG.
The condition of the scalp of each volunteer was evaluated on three parameters:
- The oiliness of the skin
- The degree of manifestation of dandruff
- Assessment of inflammatory status
After 3 weeks of regular product use we observed that:
- The product reduce skin oiliness – in 92% volunteers.
- The product reduce dandruff levels – in 96% volunteers.
- The product reduce manifestations of inflammation – in 92% volunteers.
Conclusion:
The instrumental trichological examination concluded that after 3 weeks of regular product use it was confirmed that:
- The product reduce dandruff levels (96% of positive responses).
- The product reduce skin oiliness (92% of positive responses).
- The product reduce manifestations of inflammation (92% of positive responses).
Based on the tests, it was concluded that Satura® Scalp Lotion improves the scalp condition, reduces the levels of dandruff and skin oiliness/sebum secretion and the manifestations of skin inflammation.
